Herd Evaluation

• Weight Development Control: assesses the weight gained by the animal every three months (analysis of cows, analysis of young animals);
• Gain Weight Test: assesses weight gain according to feeding (pasture or confinement).
• Milk Control: identification of best milk producing cows in the herd and optionally the best fat production;
• Reproducers' categorization – Summary: special production certification;
• Directed Mating Program (PAD) evaluates the ideal bull to mate the cows suggested by the breeder;
• CEP – Special Production Certificate – Issued for the best young males and females identified after the genetic evaluation of the entire herd participating in PMGZ. This certificate is a guarantee of genetic superiority of the animal for its early development according to the breed. Before the definitive certification, a technician for ABCZ evaluates the type of animal, ensuring that, apart from genetics, the animal features the desired biotype.  
• DEP – Expected Progeny Difference... PMGZ periodically sends to breeders the genetic evaluation of all young animals and cows of the herd. In this report DEP identifies the animal regarding the expected early development of its offspring compared to the average of the breed. IEP: interval between deliveries
• Cow Analysis – For herds participating in the CDP, reports are prepared containing the cow performances in terms of production, early development, rusticity and weaning ability.
