In 1999, both companies were merged into the British company Genus PLC, which is the holder of 70% of the British semen market and does business in several agribusiness sectors. ABS Global (Genus division for Bovine Genetics) is the world's market leader in bovine Artificial Insemination, doing business in more than 70 countries all over the world. In2004 the company brings to Brazil the pioneering semen-sexing technique, creating a new opportunity for breeders with male or female Sexed Semen.

ABS Pecplan has the purpose of contributing to the genetic enhancement of the Brazilian herd and countries between the tropics.
