A leader in the Brazilian fodder market, the Matsuda Group was founded in 1948 by Shichiro Matsuda, a Japanese immigrant who arrived on Brazilian soil in 1934. Currently presided over by Jorge Matsuda and Arilton Akhiro Sammi, the group is divided into sectors of agribusiness activity, which involve the production and marketing of seeds for pasture, mineral supplements and pet food nutrition, occupying first place in the national ranking for seed marketing and also a leading position in exports.
The company's main work philosophy is to invest in research and biotechnology for developing the best genetics of its products and offering livestock farmers ecologically correct pasture, generating meat production without risk to human health, with high-biological-value protein.
The Matsuda Group is present in the main national markets, with manufacturing units in Álvares Machado (SP), Cuiabá (MT) and São Sebastião do Paraíso (MG); and distribution points in Campo Grande (MS) and Curitiba (PR), and has also shown its colors in countries in Central and South America.
