Famous for its hospitality, Uberaba is a nationwide reference in religious and business tourism. The city is structured to provide good service to the tourist. Expozebu
With talent for agribusiness, Uberaba is proud to host the largest zebu exposition in the world and welcomes all its visitors with open arms. On the days Expozebu is held in May, the town's economy is focused on the event. The floating population in town is huge. The event attracts a diversified audience from all classes and economic sectors. There are businessmen and cattle breeders with an eye on deals; technicians and researchers interested on the scientific side and visitors interested in the popular side of the event (bars, nightclubs and shows); apart from major politicians. The main cattle breeders come to town, both from Brazil and abroad.
Paleontology Museum
With 28 million square meters, the Peirópolis Paleontology Site is 16 km away from the city corporate limits – in the district of Peirópolis and it is the constant target of excavations. The many fossil findings exposed in the Dinosaur Museum attract tourists during the entire year and also for its mineral riches. Another highlight of the place is the cuisine, especially its unforgettable candies. Peirópolis, a place of privileged vegetation and beautiful waterfall is under constant preservation.
Religious
Even after his death, Chico Xavier continues to attract millions of tourists all over the year. Followers of modern spiritism come to town to worship the memory of the medium and see his works, the places where he lived and worked, as well as the museum that bears his name and his mausoleum in São João Batista Cemetery.

There are 7 million square meters in Univerdecidade Technological Park alone, with soccer fields, courts, aeromodeling areas, kart, cross-country motorcycle race, kiosks and other public equipment for leisure with free admission. Other highlights include Mata do Ipê (35.3 thousand m²) Jacaranda Park/City zoo (32.8 thousand m²) and Mata do Carrinho (132.5 thousand m²).

Historical Heritage
The city has a rich historical heritage, including several buildings, among them the Town Hall, the Mail Office, a steam locomotive in Mogiana square, the FMTM, the Peirópolis Railway Station, the City Market, Santa Casa de Misericórdia, Clock and Obelisk, Episcopal Palace, Chácara dos Eucaliptos – MADA – Museum of Decoration Art and Caieira do Meio in Peirópolis. It also has the Museum of Sacred Art, a centennial building in baroque style and the only building in town to have been officially recorded as historical heritage on a nationwide level. The Museum has several pieces, among them "Anjos Tocheiros" (torch-carrying angels), Indumentárias Eclesiásticas" (church clothing). Here is also the Zebu Museum – the only one of its kind in the world, in Fernando Costa Park.
Private buildings are also part of history.
Several farms in town are the perfect expression of Brazilian zebu history. They contain pieces that used to belong to the vendors when the trips to sell cattle were still taken under the fur of the animals with the famous retinue. These properties still maintain the architecture of their times.
The office of Nova Índia Genética is another private property that also catches the attention of those who come to Uberaba as it is a replica of an Indian temple.
Culture
In Literature, the highlights are works left by Mário Palmério, who wrote two classics of Brazilian literature: “Chapadão do Bugre” and “Vila dos Confins”. There are seven movie theaters, most of them multiplex, and two theaters, one of them belonging to the city.
